Health Information Exchange
Mobilization of Healthcare Information
Echo has experience empowering behavioral healthcare professionals and patients to appropriately access and securely share a patient’s medical information electronically. With successful implementations in multiple states, we are ready to empower your organization as well.
We accomplish the CCD transfer using Echo’s ONC certified clinical and billing electronic health record and sending the data via a Mirth interface to your target HIE. This exchange of information is automated, meaning no more manual processing and/or printing information from your EHR.
Echo can successfully transfer the Continuity of Care Document (CCD) with a behavioral health target dataset so it’s accessible to a Health Information Exchange (HIE).
A few recent examples of Echo’s experience include successful connection with Reliance for Oregon Behavioral Health Information Exchange and also to NC HealthConnex, the North Carolina state-designated Health Information Exchange.
