The Echo Group Introduces Remote Forms for Community-Based Staff

Share

Echo’s Remote Forms are a seamless way to work with client information in real time, even without EHR access.

PRESS RELEASE

Conway, New Hampshire—The Echo Group today announced Remote Forms, an easy way for mental and behavioral health agencies to have access to client data as it’s collected rather than waiting for paper forms to be filled out, returned, and transcribed. Community-based staff can meet their same-day documentation requirements using a tablet or laptop. Users simply log into the website and complete the forms, which are then immediately available within the full EHR application.

“Remote Forms are customizable, flexible, and the agency is able to control the design and workflow of any form using our Form DesignerEHR tool,” said Allan Normandin, Echo’s Chief Executive Officer. “For ease of use, we are happy to say there is only one URL and one set of credentials to securely access the forms.”

Initially developed for Foster Care agencies, Remote Forms are designed to establish compliance for contract providers, save staff time, reduce errors, ensure timely billing and reimbursement, provide critical intervention alerts, and allow partners to provide their clients with the best care possible.

“Since the implementation of Remote Forms, our data collection capabilities have been much smoother,” said Carolyn Spence, Chief Information Officer of Alexander Youth Network. “My foster parents have expressed their gratitude for the time extension on when notes are due, the ability to see weekly goals, and especially for being able to go back on a note that they have not yet completed without losing all progress. Thank you again for developing this tool and making the platform as user-friendly as possible for our parents!”

Security is in place to maintain compliance at both federal and local levels and agencies realize operational efficiencies with a decrease in time spent on data collection. Remote Forms are a part of the EchoConnect Suite of client engagement tools and are available as an add-on to EchoVantage and Clinician’s Desktop. Echo will continue to develop additional features for Remote Forms to enhance and provide technology solutions that support the health and well-being of our partners’ clients.
